Education Technology Leaders' Event | Friday 11th May
On Friday 11th May, David Horton is hosting an Education Technology Leaders’ event at Orwell Park School in Suffolk for anyone with an interest in or responsibility for ICT in their schools. There will be a range of speakers covering strategy, mobile devices, GDPR and some useful tips & tricks to take away. There will also be an opportunity to meet some hand-picked companies face to face, including Lightspeed (web filters and MDM), eduFOCUS (trip management software), DoubleFirst (MIS) to name just a few.
ISC Digital Strategy Group aims to provide the Independent and Maintained Sector with a set of Gold Standard resources for all things virtual. The ambition is to be able to capture and transfer impact between schools similar to the Becta Teacher Resource Exchange using the ISC Digital Strategy Group website.
In partnership with Microsoft 8 schools are currently taking part in an extended trial to record the impact on learning of using the a Mixed Reality (MR) headset with Windows 10 and Steam.

This event is aimed at anyone interested in implementing a VR solution in their schools.
This sharing Good Practice event will take place at Google’s Central Saint Giles offices on Tuesday 3rd July and is aimed at all schools and particularly those who are active users of G Suite for Education.
The free event has been split into two sessions – 10.30 am to 1 pm for Prep School staff and 1.30 pm to 4 pm for Senior School staff. If you are involved in a 3 to 18 school and wish to take part in both sessions then you will have to book a ticket for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
